"Le Droit Humain" in Canada

From the time of its foundation in 1901, the internationalism of “Le Droit Humain” becomes a reality in Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain and North America. Under the aegis of Louis Goaziou, founder of the first American Lodge in 1903, “Le Droit Humain” develops in Canada. The first Lodge is created in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1911. Others follow in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. In 1939, these Lodges seem to have ceased their activities. It was only in 1980 that a Lodge created in Montreal in 1976 became affiliated with the International Order of Freemasonry for Men and Women “Le Droit Humain”.

Today, “Le Droit Humain” has 4 Lodges in Canada 4 Loges.
